You have explored capital Zagreb and you want to head to south and experience Adriatic coast? This long, but most popular route connects two biggest cities in Croatia. Zagreb and Split. Driving is smooth because it is on the main highway A1 with nice views on region Lika with a lot of forests, tunnels and nice small rural areas. Direct driving takes around 3h and 30 minutes with additional one or two stopover. Having private driver on this route gives you an option to step aside and explore Plitvice Lakes National Park or Dalmatian cities Sibenik, Skradin, Trogir or eventually Zadar. Visiting Plitvice Lakes requires longer ride because it is not close to highway and requires another route.
