Day 1Venice

Route: Venice airport – Venice

Private car transfer, private watertaxi transfer to Hotel
Arrival at venice airport and drive from venice airport to venice. Water taxi from Piazzale Roma to your Hotel in Venice. Transportation details will be arranged by agency, so you don’t to have to worry about finding right way in labirints of Venice! Check in a Hotel room and afternoon guided tour of Venice with private local guide. Guide will meet you at your Hotel and do walking tour of Venice, familiraze you with amazing History behind it and show you nice spots for shopping and having delicious meditarrenean meals. Later on, leisure evening Venice on your own. Overnight in Venice.

Day 2Ljubljana (Drive from Venice to Ljubljana)

Route: Venice – Kobarid (Soca river route) – Vrsic pass – Kranska Gora – Ljubljana

In this day you will witness amazing changeover in traveling from lowland Italy to mountainous Slovenia and getting into Julian Alps. One of the most amazing roads in Europe is this route which goes accross Vrsic pass, and we will take you there! Before getting over tallest road pass in Julian Alps (Slovenian Alps) you will make a stopover in Kobarid and vidist museum of WWI, and visit award winning museum about Slovenian and Italian war. Interesting sight is Napoloeon Bridge which you will visit with your driver near Kobarid. After history and architecture experience you will take mountain road accros Alps. Road has been built by Russians who have died due to bad weather conditions, so road is truly spectacular to drive on and will definitely offer you off the beaten path experience. Be prepared for a slow ride! Optional stopover in Kranjska Gora lakes for a short sightseeing of lakes. Lunch is recommended in Kobarid, before getting over Vrsic pass. Arrival to Ljubljana in the evening. Overnight in Ljubljana.

Day 3Ljubljana (Day trip to Bled)

Route: Ljubljana – Bled Lake – Bled Castle – Bohinj Lake / Bled Vintgar – Ljubljana

Morning tour of Ljubljana with private local guide and another day in nature, this time nature escape on Bled lake. In Ljubljana you will visit Triple Bridge, Dragon bridge, Ljubljana castle, Congress Square, Holy Trinity church with your private guide. After walking tour your driver will take you for a 45 minute ride to most popular tourist area in Slovenia, Bled Lake. Upon arrival you will have free time to walk around Bled lake, enjoy in stunning nature or eventually take Pletna boat ride to Island in the middle of the Lake. After walking in Ljubljana and on Bled Lake, we assume you will be hungry, so it is time for a lunch! Bled Castle is a great place, to enjoy in Restaurant and try Slovenian specalities. While you wait for your meal you can take pictures of beautiful Bled Lake from Bled Castle. Optionally you can walking into museum inside the Castle to see part of Slovenian history. After Bled Castle (called Blejski Grad) you will continue your day trip to either Bled Vintgar or Bohinj Lake – Vogel cable car. Bled Vintgar is nature park with stunning streams and canyon of river Vintgar, while Bohinj Lake main attraction is cable car which will take you to ski resort on altitude of 1.500 meters or 5000 feet for an breathtaking view of Bohinj Lake and Julian Alps surrounding it. The best time to come here is in spring (March – May) because you will see greenery around lake and snow in the mountains around of Triglav National Park. You have options for the end. Arriving back to Ljubljana and leisure evening in Ljubljana. Overnight in Ljubljana.

Day 4Plitvice lakes (Drive from Ljubljana via Zagreb to Plitvice)

Route: Ljubljana – Zagreb – Plitvice Lakes

It is time for Croatia! On this day you will travel from Capital of Slovenia to Plitvice Lakes in Croatia with stopover in Capital of Croatia, Zagreb. Zagreb is a fascinating city with 1 million people living in it. It has upper and lower town and you will explore highlights of each part with your private tour guide. We highly recommend having a guide here to show you main sights and learn about histry from Austrians and Germans. You will take shortest cable car from main street Ilica to Upper town and explore parliament, cathedral and St. Marko square. Afterwards you will visit local market, main square Ban Jelacic and see park Zrinjevac. Last stop would be National Theatre, beautiful architectural monument in heart of Zagreb. Zagreb has so many museums, so please let us know if you are interested in any. Interesting one is museom of broken relationships. Afternoon arrival to Plitvice Lakes. Overnight at Plitvice Lakes.

Day 5Split (Drive from Plitvice via Zadar to Split)

Route: Plitvice Lakes – Zadar – Split

Morning tour of Plitvice Lakes with private local guide or walking on your own with directions from your driver / tour guide. Standard tour of Plitvice lakes starts at Entrance 1 and ends at Entrance 2 – Hotel Jezero. Duration of tour/sightseeing is approximately three hours. You will explore Big Waterfall, Lower Laks and Part of Upper Lakes. After Plitvice Lakes and lunch afterwards it is time to change region in Croatia and go from Region Lika to region Dalmatia, most popular region in Croatia with Split as main center and biggest city. Stopover is recommended in Zadar to see city of rich Roman heritage, sea organs and beautiful architecture. Optionally we offer private local guide in Zadar, but it is your decision if you want to take a walk on your own with directions of your private driver / tour guide. Afternoon arrival to Split. Overnight in Split

Day 6Split

Relaxing day, walking tour of Split with a private guide. Optionally wine tasting or local food tasting combined with walking tour of Split which lasts around 2h. In this day you will explore Dicoletian’s palace – old town of Split and visit sights like Diocletian Basements, Cathedral of St. Duje, Prokurative, Fruit square. Split has so many restaurants and taverns in old town, so it perfect combination would be to have nice local dish or maybe wine tasting with local lunch in some of nearby local restaurants recommended by agency or your private guide. Leisure afternoon in Split. Overnight in Split

Day 7Split (Day trip to Krka and Primosten)

Route: Split – Krka – Primosten – Split

Day trip to most popular National Park in region of Dalmatia. Krka Waterfalls are just one hour away from Split and present truly great nature experience. Recommended pick up time is around 8AM to beat the crowd, especially in high season (June – September). After sightseeing of National Park Krka we will suggest you restaurants in Primosten to try seafood on waterfront of Primosten. After lunch, you can take extra time and swimm in sea or head back to Split. Overnight in Split.

Day 8Dubrovnik (Drive from Split via Ston to Dubrovnik)

Route: Split – Ston – Dubrovnik

Transfer and tour from Split to Dubrovnik with stopover in Ston and driving on most popular route in Croatia, scenic route from Neretva valley to Dubrovnik. On this amazing route you can try delicious Oysters directly from the farm or on a private boat and small island with seafood lunch. There are so many wine tasting options on Peljesac peninsula, so why don’t spice up everything with great wine from wine growing hills of Peljesac. Leisure evening and overnight in Dubrovnik

Day 9Dubrovnik (Day trip of Dubrovnik area)

Route: Dubrovnik – Srdj hill – Cavtat – Dubrovnik

Relaxing day before heading back to your country, or countinuing your journey. Day will start with guided tour of Dubrovnik old town, also knows as Grad. You will visit most significant historical landmarks such as Onofrio’s fountains, Rector’s palace, Sponza Palace, Stradun – main street, Cathedral, Church of St. Joseph, square of Ivan Gundulic. If you are Game of Thrones fan, we will tailor this tour and include Dubrovnik city walls and explore filming locations on Dubrovnik Walls and Lovrijenac fort ( Red Keep). After city tour you will head up to Srdj hill to enjoy in breathtaking views and eventually have lunch in Panorama restaurant. Last stop is Cavtat town, free time in beautiful small place where you can walk around nature park peninsula and enjoy in your last moments in Croatia. Overnight in Dubrovnik.

Day 10Departure

Your journey has came to an end. Your driver will take you from Dubrovnik town to Dubrovnik airport. We are sure that you will bring home unforgettable memories which will last forever. End of tour.

Entrance tickets depend on your preferences, but average is 150€ per person for Italy, Slovenia, Croatia private tour

3Local guides

For this tour we recommend having 5 local guides. Price for all local guides is 400€. You don’t have to book local guides, or you can book them on your own

5Additional costs

Ferry and catamaran rides = 20€ per person

1Can we start from Dubrovnik and end in Venice?

Yes, you can, but travel designers from Experience Dalmatia need to change itinerary per you request. Please send us inquiry and we will respond shortly.

2Are larger groups possible?

Of course! For more than 8 people we suggest: two mini-vans, mini-bus or bus

3Do you book Villas or Apartments?

Ne, unfortunately. We don’t book Villas or Apartments. It is not sustainable way of working for us. We can book 4* or 5* Hotels only.

4Can we pay all activities on spot?

Yes, you can, just we need to book and coordinate everything to have nice and smooth itinerary.

5Do we get early booking discount?

Early booking discount is possible, minimum 5 months in advance.

6Which vehicle we will get?

Agency will offer you and specify in official quote through email. Once you agree with brand, size and other requirements for vehicles, we will keep it reserved for date you have picked. Our vehicles are Mercedes, Opel and VW.
