On first day, driving time lasts around 3.5 hours, or 250 kilometers. In this day we will offer you two options, seeing magnificent Postojna Cave or Trieste city with Miramare Castle (Castello di Miramare). We like to start flexible, so you can even decide on your arrival where to go. Overnight in Opatija.

Day 2Opatija – Motovun – Pula – Rovinj – Opatija (overnight)

Istrian peninsula is one of the most beautiful and most developed regions in Croatia with strong Italian influence in terms of habits, architecture and food. Most popular cities are Pula (biggest), Rovinj, Umag and Porec. We will focus on small, medieval town Motovun, where you can try truffles, or eventually have truffle hunting and tasting experience with dogs and local lunch afterwards. After truffles, it is time for Roman heritage in Pula, Roman amphitheatre, Augustus temple and Golden gate in Pula. It is marble – concrete gate, not real gold! After Pula it is time for relaxing time in Rovinj, enjoying in promenade, beautiful views from Cathedral and its picturasque colorful buildings. Overnight in Opatija.

You can explore Plitvice Lakes National Park with a private guide, or on your own. We always include private local guides, but on your request your driver can explain you route and give you directions where to go, and where to meet him. Plan is to enter on Entrance 1, see Big Waterfall, explore Lower lakes and take boat ride across biggest lake Kozjak to Upper lakes, where you can take a short walk and come back to Entrance 2 – Hotel Jezero parking lot to meet your driver. It is important to arrive before sunset in Zadar to enjoy in spectacular views and one of the most beautiful sunsets in Europe. Even Alfred Hitchcock wrote about it! Overnight in Zadar.

If you would like to have extended tour of Sibenik with private local guide, we recommend sightseeing of St. Nicholas fort, together with St. James Cathedral and old town of Sibenik. Primosten is reserved for nice and relaxing walk on peninsula which was an island before! Overnight in Split.

Main highlights of this transfer and tour are: Neretva Valley fields, Bosnian town Neum, Ston bay and city walls and Peljesac wineries or oyster experience. You can try oysters directly from the farm, or take private boat and visit fields together with guiding experience and possible lunch. So many wine tasting experiences are on Peljesac peninsula, so if you are wine lover, you should try Plavac Mali (red wine) or Posip (white wine) from growing hills of Peljesac.
