Our Dalmatian history tour includes a guided visit to two UNESCO protected sites in two Dalmatian towns:  Split’s most famous Diocletian`s palace dating from the 4th cent. A.D, and the lovely historic island- town of Trogir which will amaze you with its lively narrow streets, stone houses and Venetian architecture. If you are looking for more Roman sights our Dalmatian highlights tour will take you to the remnants of Salona – the ancient city and capital of the Roman province of Dalmatia dating from 1st cent.A.D.

For an interesting medieval sight and a spectacular view, you will head to the picturesque village of Kliss which stippled with vineyards and olive groves is the home to a beautiful medieval fortress bearing the same name that was a seat to Croatian dukes and kings. The Game of Thrones lovers will love the fortress even more as this was a recent filming location for the popular series.

Another interesting sight is the Kastera Riviera, a series of small picturesque villages on the costal line beetween Split and Trogir, with a beautiful scenry of the Kozjak mountain in the background.
